After an accident occurred, a failure has been noticed on a hanggliding harness from the French manufacturer Ellipse. This model has been manufactured since 2001. A strap of the harness is cutting opened the seam of the main attachment strap of the rescue parachute when this strap comes under sudden tension due to the opening shock of the rescue parachute. Pilot using such harnesses should contact the general dealer in Switzerland or the French manufacturer to have their harness modified.

Sicer sem videl tud slike te "bube", pa mi se zmeram ni jasno vse, prevec je teh "strapov". Moja rezerva je povezana najprej z majhnim karabinom ki je lociran nad mojimi lopaticami, nato od tukaj potuje naprej do glavnega karabina (TENAX) Sicer pa mi sploh ni jasno, ko vidm da je vecina tekmovalnih bub narejenih tako da se vpetje konca pri prvem karabinu "lopatice". Po razmisleku v kaksen polazaj te postavi napetost zmaja in rezerve ob takem vpetju ugotovis da je malo riskantna. Pa pustmo zdj upor k mas 1.5 cm debeljso vpetno vrv.
